Abigail Valdez of Des Moines, recently participated in the Knights of Columbus State Free Throw Contest in Los Lunas and won 1st place in the girls 9 year-old division!
Abigail made 11 of 25 to win the competition held on March 21. She is the daughter of Nicole Rodriguez and Jonathan Valdez.
