Brent B. J. Mascarenas

Brent James (B.J.) Mascarenas age 22, passed away on October 29th, 2019. B.J. is survived by his mother Jacqueline Mascarenas, Melodie and James Mascarenas and Stepfather Pedro Hernandez all of Raton, sister Brentany Horner Mascarenas and brother Brandon Horner Mascarenas and Evanna Mares of Raton. Also, surviving are Beloved Aunt Cathie Rush and Aunt Bert Dennis of Raton. Uncles; Jimmy Mascarenas and wife Tricia Mascarenas and Justin Mascarenas of Raton. Nephews; Jacob and Brandon Horner Mascarenas. Cousins; Justine, Jimmie Ann, Joslin, Cameron and Dakota Mascarenas all of Raton as well as his pet German Shepard – Gypsy.
B.J. had a huge impact on anybody he met, he could walk into a room and it would light up with is beautiful smile. B.J. was smart, kind, devoted to family and dedicated to striving every day to be a better person and helping others. His biggest passion in life was his love for his family and his dog Gypsy. His favorite pastime was playing pool being an avid player he rarely lost, fishing was another passion and at times would stay at the lake all day trying to catch them tagged fish. He was the head supervisor for CDD, he also worked at Tractor Supply. He adored his nephews and his biggest goal was to become a police officer. B.J. had a heart of gold.
Services for Brent (B.J.) Mascarenas will be on November 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home with Josh Wood and Forest McConnel Officiating.
