In Loving Memory of Rosemary Cimino Feldman

Rosemary Cimino Feldman

Rosemary Cimino Feldman was born on May 15, 1956, to Frank and Lucille Cimino, Sr. She spent most of her life in Raton, New Mexico, before moving to Pratt, Kansas, in 2024. Rosemary, affectionately known by most as “Ro,” married the love of her life, Bobby Feldman, on November 24, 1979. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with three children: William “Willie” Feldman, Jessica Barfield, and Katie Jo Feldman.

Ro was known for her kind, generous spirit and her ability to bring people together and make everyone feel loved. She had the biggest heart and was always taking care of someone, whether it was family, friends, neighbors, or anyone in need. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she was a devoted member of the Church of Christ.

She found joy in life’s simple blessings. Ro loved music, treasured a good book, avid coffee & margarita drinker, and was happiest preparing incredible pasta dinners that brought her family together around the table. The love she had for her dog/companion Eevee was unmatched. Eevee did a wonderful job keeping her on her toes and staying by her side everyday. Her favorite place in the world was the beauty of Cimarron Canyon and Red River, where she would remember the family vacations and found peace and happiness. Above all else, she lived to love her family and friends, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with those she loved.

Ro was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and caregiver. She was blessed to stay home with her daughters while they were young, a role she cherished deeply. She later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Miners Long Term Facility and in Medical Records at Miners Colfax Medical Center, where her compassion and caring nature touched many lives. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Credit Bureau alongside her dear friends, Carol Garcia and Janet Yarborough. She also delivered for Little Debbie, a job made even more special because father Frank, often rode along with her, filling their days with laughter and his wonderful stories.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Feldman; her parents, Frank and Lucille Cimino; her parents-in-law, William and Vera Feldman; brothers Tom, Jerry, Jody, and Jack Feldman; sisters Phyllis Cooley and Glynda Feldman; sister-in-law Stephanie Feldman; and nephews Martin Shaw, Billie Byler, Shane Rinker, and James Hammer.

She is survived by her children: Jessica Barfield and husband Ian of Tucson, Arizona; Katie Jo Feldman of Pratt, Kansas; and William “Willie” Feldman of Raton, New Mexico. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Shaw and husband Richard, and Loretta Wolske and husband Paul; her brother, Frank Cimino Jr. and wife Sylvia; brothers- and sisters-in-law Jim Feldman and wife Joy, Tony Feldman and wife Melonee, Geneva Byler, Donna Rinker, Roxanne Feldman, and Lydia Feldman; her three grandchildren, Tucker Feldman, Tate Feldman, and Abigail Barfield; her great-grandson, Ike Feldman; numerous nieces and nephews; and her lifelong friend, Louise Padilla and her adopted daughter Evanna Maldonado.

Ro’s kindness, unwavering faith, generous heart, and unconditional love will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, selflessness, and a family forever grateful for the love she gave so freely.
