Juanita “Jennie” Aurora Esquibel, age 87 passed away Peacefully with her daughter and niece by her side, on March 29, 2019 at her home in Raton, NM. Jennie was born August 7, 1931, to the late Jose Barela an Adelia Gallegos. Preceding her in death are husband Leopoldo Esquibel, her parents Jose Barela and Adela Gallegos, her brother Ben Tafoya, Grandson James T. Trujillo Jr, grand-daughter Jennifer Esquivel and great-grandson Joshua Esquivel. She enjoyed music, dancing, fishing and most of all her life around family. She is survived by her daughter Louise Falcon (James T. Trujillo Sr.); her sons Leo Esquibel (Rosa Esquibel), Nash Esquivel (Debbie Esquivel); sister Mary Jiron and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial Service for Juanita “Jennie” Aurora Esquibel will be held on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
