In support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Raton Tigers football team is proud to join Touchdowns Against Cancer! The team is inviting fans to pledge a donation for every touchdown they score from September 15th to October 1, 2016. Every touchdown scored by the Tigers during this campaign will directly benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and help defeat childhood cancer.
Touchdowns Against Cancer is important to Raton because childhood cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease among young Americans. This is the Tigers’ way of helping the 16,000 children and adolescents that will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
