Sid was described by everyone he interacted with as an Awesome, and Amazing, yet Humble man who spent his life serving others. He dedicated his professional life as the General Manager of Northern New Mexico Gas Company following in his father’s footsteps where he left an impression on his peers, co-workers, community, and his customers. He also served on the Housing Authority to help low-income families with affordable housing. Sid was well known for his exquisite talent in Music leaving behind a legacy of songs he wrote, recorded, and performed at many venues. He was a Rock Star!

Sid is survived by his brother Llyod Stockton (Las Vegas NV) his three sons Adam Stockton (Albuquerque, NM), Ira Stockton (Albuquerque NM), and Luke Stockton (Fort Worth TX). His thirteen wonderful grandchildren Adam Jr, Sierra, Brianna, Steven, Rudy, Nevaeh, J’Den, Cadence, James, Jonah, Shaelynn, Kaylei, and Kingsley. Sid was an outstanding Son, Father, Grandfather, Friend, and Boss The impact he made to the lives of his family was one of his biggest accomplishments. He went to extra lengths to make sure every family member felt special and loved beyond measure, and that extended to his son’s friends and neighborhood friends. He was a father figure to many.

Sid was a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam war stationed in Okinawa and onboard the U.S.S Enterprise. Sid returned to Cimarron NM after his service to begin his career, start his family, and begin impacting so many lives in a beautiful way. Anyone who knew Sid knew that he loved his notes in his notes we found: “If there was one thing that I would want to teach the world, it would be to Love one another and work together for the common good of all Mankind”. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
