Fred William Mack Jr. age 66, of Raton, NM., passed away Thursday February 27, 2014 in Des Moines, NM. He was born August 27, 1947 in Raton, NM., the son of Fred W. Sr. and Margaret Luksich-Mack. Fred served his country in the New Mexico National Guard for 23 years and was well know for his mechanic skills.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Margaret Mack, sisters Flora Lee McGonagill and Wilma Budd. He is survived by one daughter, Robin Haynes and husband Darrel of Lovington, NM., one son Ronnie Mack and wife Tammie of Trinidad, CO, and their Mother Virginia Mack, one granddaughter Madison Baker of Lovington, NM, one sister, Merle Bennett of Bernalillo, NM, one brother Bob Mack and Noel of Raton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday March 6, 2014 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at the Fairmont Cemetery in Raton. Bob Mack and Noel will be receiving guests at 1817 Armstrong Lane Raton aftr the service.
