Tim Simpson, age 55, died Monday, February 10, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 14, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Kyle Bueermann, pastor and Rev. Terrell Jones, pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Tim Simpson was born on May 9, 1958 in Levelland, Texas to James Clayton Simpson and Ruth Latrell (Gillespie) Simpson. He graduated from Levelland High School and attended South Plains College for two years and then transferred to Texas Tech University where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Medical Technology. Tim went to work at Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart, Texas where he met Pam Williams. They were later married on February 14, 1986 in Dalhart. In 1990 they moved to Clayton and Tim worked for Union County General Hospital as Lab Director for 23 years. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, grand-parents, mother-in-law; Isabel Williams, sister-in-law; Linda Williams Toney, brother-in-law; Jimmy Franklin and a niece Geneva Coke.

WIFE: Pam Simpson of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 DAUGHTER: Krista Herrera of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 SON: T. J. Simpson of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 GRANDSON: Christopher Herrera, Jr. Of Clayton, New Mexico.
3 BROTHERS: Jimmy Simpson of Phoenix, Arizona, B. J. Simpson and his wife Vivian of Tatum, New Mexico and Danny Simpson and his wife Cindy of Lubbock, Texas.
1 SISTER: Paula Franklin of Phoenix, Arizona.
FATHER-IN-LAW: Calvin Williams of Clayton, New Mexico.
2 SISTERS-IN-LAW: Debbie Palmer and her husband Randy of Leavenworth, Kansas and Tiffany Johns of Clayton, New Mexico.
And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
MEMORIALS: The family suggests that memorials be made in Tim’s Memory to Union County General Hospital.
