Each spring, the Whittington Center’s expansive backcountry comes alive with the sound of turkey calls and gobbles as Merriam turkeys roam across our 33,000+ acres. Our Guided Spring Turkey Hunt delivers an immersive hunting adventure tailored to both seasoned hunters and those seeking a trophy tom.
From your arrival to your departure, everything is taken care of with our all-inclusive package: comfortable lodging with kitchenettes and towels, hearty homemade meals and field sack lunches, snacks, experienced personal guides, on-site transportation, and your New Mexico hunting license. Our guides are seasoned turkey callers and trackers, ensuring you’re positioned for the best chance of success — with near-100 % success rates reported.
Hunt dates are limited each season (mid-April to early May), and each hunt spans up to three days, providing ample opportunity to experience the thrill of pursuing Merriam turkeys in prime habitat. Whether you call for yourself or rely on expert guide calling, this hunt promises a memorable outdoor adventure.
