James “Jamie” Fresquez

Jamie was born in Northglenn, CO where he lived most of his life and raised his children. He worked for United Power in Brighton, CO for 20 years before semi-retiring in Trinidad, CO with his wife, Heidi. They currently own and have operated the Mountain Man Shop, filled with snacks, on Commercial Street in Trinidad, CO. This is where Jamie was happiest, meeting and greeting the community.
He is survived by his wife Heidi Fresquez; Daughter, Sarah Manzanerez (Aaron), Daughter; Nicole Gallegos (Carlos); Son, Dustyn Fresquez (Jayden); Grandchildren; Carlos “Litos”; Isabela Rose and Alexander. Mother, Ellen Flores; Brothers, Tony Fresquez and Chris Fresquez and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father, John Fresquez.
Services will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church located at 135 Church Street, Trinidad, CO on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 1:00pm. (Please arrive 15-20 minutes early) Reception gathering will be held afterward with time and location to be announced after the services.
