It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Isaiah Michael Armijo, who left this world on June 4, 2026, at the age of 21.
Isaiah was born on September 16, 2004, in Raton, to his loving parents, Christopher Armijo and Rebecca Pena. From the day he was born, Isaiah brought joy, laughter, and love to those around him. His life, though far too short, was filled with moments that will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
Isaiah was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He shared a special bond with his family and was deeply loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Rebecca Pena and Chris Armijo; his brother, Isaac Armijo; and his sisters, Genesis Garcia, Laniah Garcia, and Savannah Valentine.
He also leaves behind many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
Those who knew Isaiah will remember his unique spirit, his smile, and the way he could light up a room simply by being himself. He had a presence that brought people together and a heart that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether sharing a laugh, spending time with family, or making memories with friends, Isaiah’s life touched countless people in meaningful ways.
The loss of Isaiah leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him. While words cannot fully express the pain of saying goodbye, they also cannot fully express the gratitude for the time that was shared with him. The memories he created, the love he gave, and the moments of happiness he brought to others will continue to live on.
Although his journey ended far too soon, Isaiah’s legacy will never be measured by the number of years he lived, but by the love he shared and the lives he touched. His family and friends will forever remember his strength, his spirit, and the countless memories that now become treasured gifts.
As we mourn this heartbreaking loss, we also celebrate the life of a young man who was deeply loved and will never be forgotten. Isaiah’s memory will continue to live on in the stories told, the laughter remembered, and the love that remains.
He was taken from this world too soon, but his presence will remain with us always. May we find comfort in knowing that those we love never truly leave us—they remain forever in our hearts.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 10:00 am. Followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, with Father Trieu as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Internment will follow in the Springer Cemetery.
