Emmanuel L. Vigil, affectionately known as Manny, passed away on June 13, 2026, at the age of 41. He was a beloved father, son, uncle, nephew, and brother.
Manny was an avid fisherman who found great joy in the outdoors. He also loved working on his vehicles, spending countless hours modifying them while listening to his favorite music. Above all else, Manny’s heart belonged to his family. The true loves of his life were his two daughters, Aubree and Alexis, and his nephew, Chez Vigil, whom he loved and raised like a son.
Manny is survived by his daughters, Aubree Vigil and Alexis Vigil; his father, Manuel Vigil; his mother, Jackie Lopez; his aunt, Beverly Bunker Vialpando; his uncle, Ronnie Ortega; his brother, Caesare Vigil; and his nephew, Chez Vigil. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Bailey and Mila, as well as numerous cousins, extended family members, and close friends who will miss him dearly.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be on July 1, 2026, at 11:00 am, at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 with Father Bill Woytavich as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Internment will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery.
