In Loving Memory of Benjamin Anthony Velasquez Jr.

Benjamin Anthony Velasquez Jr., born on June 15, 1976, passed away on July 14, 2025 at the
age of 49. Ben was a father grandpa, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He
touched the lives of so many with his loving heart, his fierce attitude, and his one of a kind
personality. He was a proud dad to two children and even a more proud grandpa to four
grandchildren. When he wasn’t spending time with his family, he loved to play pool, and
watch the Denver Broncos. Ben will be deeply missed by everyone.
Ben is survived by his mother Valorie Velasquez (Tom). His two children, Laurel Tedrow
(Anthony) and Benjamin Velasquez III (Brianna). His grandchildren, Anthony Aragon Jr., Andre
Aragon, Gabriella Velasquez, and Arya Aragon. His siblings, Brenda Cross (lsaac), Shari
Velasquez, Eddie Martinez (Tina), Johnny Martinez, and Jennifer Haefele (Ryan) and numerous
family members.
Ben is proceeded in death by his father Benjamin Anthony Velasquez Sr., grandparents
Christobal Velasquez, Fredrica Velasquez, Nash Valdez, Evelyn Valdez and Great Grandmother
Lucy Torrez.
Honorary Pall Bearers are Eddie Martinez, James Sanchez, Tim Valdez, Shane Ellis, Anthony
Aragon, and Robert Hernandez.
Services for Ben will be August 1,2025 at 1 pm at the Holy Trinity Church in Trinidad CO,
followed by the Trinidad Catholic Cemetary. Dinner will be at 5pm at the Holiday Inn Express
