Jeanne Marie Horner
( November 05, 1956 – March 23, 2023 )
Jeanne Marie Horner, age 66 unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on the evening of March 23, 2023. Jeanne was a citizen of Raton for 63 years and she graduated from Raton High School in 1974.
Jeanne took part in Chorus throughout her years of middle and high school. She had a passion for singing and listening to music in her spare time. Jeanne was a person who loved a lot and especially loved her family to no end. She was there for her kids through the best times and even the not-so-good of times. Jeanne moved to Albuquerque in 2020, where she spent the last of her days. She enjoyed what she could as she had binding health issues that didn’t allow her very much time away from Dr.’s visits. Prior to getting ill, Jeanne was a member of the VFW of Raton where she enjoyed spending time socializing with friends and having her own time This is a place where she got to be herself and take a load off. Jeanne was a little ornery, to say the least, but her personality was golden when she was with her friends and family.
She enjoyed a lot of the smaller things in life and appreciated all the love and support she received from family and friends as things got a little harder for her. God knows that she is now at peace, and will now prosper in eternal life.
Jeanne Marie Horner was preceded in death by parents Trinidad and Barbara Baca, first husband Lawrence Tarnacki, and son Jason Tarnacki all of Raton. Brother Rudolph Baca of Albuquerque and brothers-in-law Rick Poe of Colorado, and Dwayne Vowell of Oklahoma.
