ShortGrass Music Festival: The Magnolia Sisters

The eclectic ShortGrass Music Festival presents its 12th season of live music in Cimarron, NM from Friday through Sunday, September 16th-18th. Featured this year are: The Magnolia Sisters, Halden Wofford & the Hi*Beams and cellist Denise Djokic with pianist Heng-Jin Park.
The Magnolia Sisters perform Fri., Sept. 16th, 7PM at the old Barlow & Sanderson stage stop in Cimarron’s historic district next to the St. James Hotel. The group plays southwest Louisiana Cajun & Creole dancehall favorites & ballads. They tell stories, sing rich harmonies, & play 1930s string band numbers.
