Loretta Bernice Colangelo(Sims), loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and aunt, passed away on March 26, 2026, at the age of 84.
Loretta and John Colangelo Jr. married on August 15, 1959 and were blessed with 66 years of marriage.
Loretta is survived by her husband John; daughters Candace (Candy), Joanie, Michelle, son Shawn; Grandson John Jarred Demchek (Hannah) Vancouver WA, Granddaughter Sara Grubelnik, LaPine OR and Great Grandson Benjen John Demchek, sister-in-law Geneva Byler of Tucumcari, NM and nieces and nephews.
Loretta will be remembered for the love of her children, grandchildren and friends. She will be greatly missed by all her family.
There will be no memorial services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Loretta’s memory to the Raton Humane Society.
