Leeroy E. Mondragon age 79 passed away September 5, 2015 in Raton, New Mexico. He was born October 17, 1935 in Chacon, New Mexico the son of Abran and Corina Vigil Mondragon. He was a resident of Springer and a member of St. Patrick-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his daughters Patricia Aguilar and Jose of Coahoma, Texas, Theresa Nigg and Tad of Rock Springs, Wyoming, son Roy Mondragon of Greeley, Colorado, sister Lillian Garcia of Las Vegas, New Mexico, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will take place Friday September 11th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church recited by John Ruben Garcia. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m. with Father John Trambley as the celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Cimarron, New Mexico. Funeral arrangements for Leeroy E. Mondragon are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton.
