Virtual Summer Family Evening: Los Luceros Historic Site ~ Hosted by Pajarito Environmental Education Center

Join Los Luceros Historic Site‘s Instructional Coordinator Carlyn Stewart for the first of PEEC’s virtual Summer Family Evenings, sponsored by Del Norte Credit Union! Carlyn will virtually lead our audience around the historic farm and introduce the animals at Los Luceros Historic Site. Tune in to learn about traditional sheepherding in New Mexico and to virtually meet the property’s herd of goats, Churro sheep, chickens, and donkey. Natilla and Biscochito, the youngest lambs at the site, will also make a special appearance!

Carlyn Stewart has been the Instructional Coordinator at Los Luceros Historic Site since January and is completing her Master’s degree in Public Archaeology at the University of New Mexico.

Summer Family Evenings will take place via Zoom every Wednesday in June and July (except July 1). These events will start at 6 PM and provide virtual fun for the whole family!

Normally, Summer Family Evenings are free for PEEC members and $5 per family for nonmembers. Virtual Summer Family Evenings are free for everyone! If you are able, please consider a gift to help PEEC continue providing programming like this. Look for the optional donation box as you complete your registration.
