Beans, Cornbread and fixin’s! If that ain’t enuff, there’ll be comedy skits, music, singing, and either a barn raising or a barn burning…depending on the mood and availability.

Located in Downtown Folsom, NM ~ at the junction of ~ Highways 325 & 456. Folsom only has a population of about 80 citizens, but it has a larger than life history. The museum was established in 1966 and has occupied the Doherty Mercantile building ever since.

In 2008, the museum sponsored the first annual Capulin Volcano Run, a Half Marathon/10K/5K race which has grown in popularity with each succeeding year.

Seasonal Hours:

Memorial Day Weekend thru September:  7 Days a Week: 10:00 am-5:00 pm

Weekends in May (and for the Remainder of Year by Appointment)

Admission:  Adults: $1.50/ Children 6-12: 50 cents!/ Children under 6: Free!!
