In Loving Memory of Dale Arthur Radke

Dale Arthur Radke, age 68, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 in Amarillo, Texas.

Dale was born on Monday, October 27, 1952 in Siren, Wisconsin. He graduated from Webster High School in 1970 and then volunteered for the US Army. Dale served for three years from October 30, 1970 to September 4, 1973. He was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged after a jeep accident that left him disabled. He spent most of his years in the Wisconsin, North Woods, three years in Ekalaka, Montana and then settled in Des Moines, New Mexico in 2006. Dale was known by family and friends to always have a huge smile on his face and have something smart and sassy to say to brighten up your day. He was a very caring and generous man, the type to give you the shirt off his back (or new shoes he’d just bought), washout ever asking for a thing in return. Dale was an avid reader and especially loved true crime books. He was an outstanding artist who loved to draw and he built beautiful log cabins. He loved raising hell with his friends, and his 4th of July displays were a sight to see. He spent many hours playing pool with his buddies but he didn’t use your average que, his que of choice was his trusty broomstick which he wielded expertly, beating his pals on many occasions. Dale may have hated going to town, but he sure liked going out to eat. He also emmensely enjoyed cooking and barbequing both for and with his friends and family. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin Arthur Radke and Elma (Peck) Radke.
