Dominic Garcia, age 29, of Trinidad, Colorado, passed away on July 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on March 2, 1997, Dominic lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his loved ones, and a willingness to help anyone in need.
A dedicated general contractor by trade, Dominic took great pride in his work. He was known for his craftsmanship, dependability, and the relationships he built with those he worked alongside. More than the homes and projects he completed, Dominic built lasting friendships and earned the respect of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all else, Dominic’s greatest joy was his family. He was a loving husband to Eliss Garcia and a proud, devoted father to his beloved son, Orion Garcia, who was the light of his life. He cherished every moment spent with his family and leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, strength, and loyalty.
Dominic is survived by his wife, Eliss Garcia; his son, Orion Garcia; his mother, Rose Gonzales; his mother in law, Roberta Aguilar; his sisters, Angelica Abeyta (Andrew Abeyta), Nicolette Garcia (fiancé Jayven Sanchez), and Yvette Garcia; his brothers, Nicholas Garcia and Vincent Garcia; his nephews, Damien Garcia, Caleb Garcia, Vincent Garcia Jr., Jensen Garcia, Adrian Arguello, and Ace Abeyta; his nieces, Audrey Abeyta, Penelope Abeyta, Sawyer Garcia, Emarlynn Cruz, Jayda Sanchez, and Emyrsynn Garcia; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Dominic will be remembered for his generous heart, unwavering determination, infectious smile, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to his family and friends, and his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Though his time with us was far too short, the impact Dominic made will never fade. His legacy lives on through his son, his family, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
