Santa will be at Ripley Park on Saturday, November 28th at 3 pm giving out goody bags to all girls and boys! The Christmas Tree Lighting takes place at 5 pm at Ripley Park. The Festival of Lights* – a stationary parade with floats – begins at about 5:15 pm on Historic First Street between Cook and Park Avenues.
The Festival continues until about 7 pm with food vendors and prizes. Several Downtown businesses will stay open late for shopping.
*First National Loan Production Office will award cash prizes for the best floats: 1st Place $300, 2nd Place $200 and 3rd Place $100! To enter a float in the Festival of Lights, contact Diana at FNLPO (445-7123) or Raton MainStreet at the Old Pass Gallery (445-2052).
