Raton Baseball Wrap Up

Special to KRTN Sports From Coach Robby Armijo

Raton Baseball 2025 – End of Year Summary

The 2025 season was a year of growth, grit, and pride for Raton Baseball. We wrapped up the year with an overall record of 11-12 and a strong 7-3 finish in district play, earning us 2nd place in the district standings. Our hard work throughout the season paid off with a playoff berth — and even better, we had the privilege of hosting the first round matchup, where we came out victorious in front of our home crowd.

Individually, several players received well-deserved recognition for their contributions on the field. Chase Middlebrook, Azden Romero, and Brayden Tapia were named 1st team All-District, a testament to their leadership and outstanding performance. Camron Edmondson, Brayden Decker, and Chris Ortega were each honored with All-District Honorable Mentions for their consistent effort and impact throughout the season. Additionally, a special congratulations goes out to Chase Middlebrook, who was selected to represent Raton in the All-Star Game.

This season was defined by the progress we made together. From early practices to our playoff run, the team continued to take major strides — growing not only as athletes, but as a brotherhood. I couldn’t be more proud of what we accomplished.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our three seniors — Chase Middlebrook, Camron Edmondson, and Clayton Kelley — for their leadership, dedication, and the legacy they leave behind. You’ve set the standard for what it means to be a Raton Tiger.

Here’s to a great season and even brighter days ahead for Raton Baseball!
