Community Meeting: STOP VANDALISM IN RATON NOW!

GrowRaton! and the City of Raton invite you to participate in an urgent effort to stop the wave of vandalism which has been afflicting our local businesses and residents. There will be an urgent meeting on Monday, December 14th at 5:30 pm in the International Room upstairs at the International Bank (enter off Cook Avenue in Raton). City Manager Scott Berry and Police Chief John Garcia will be there to talk about the need to support and help our local Police Department.

If you care about stopping vandalism in Raton, please come to this meeting! The public needs to get involved if we are to stem this onslaught which has resulted in the rising costs of replacing or boarding up windows and property insurance. We immediately need to set up a Crime Stoppers Reward Fund to pay for anonymous tips leading to the arrest and conviction of those vandals perpetrating these property crimes.
