City of Trinidad – Stage III Water Restrictions Notice
To All Residents, Businesses, Rural Customers, and Water Associations:
Due to ongoing drought conditions, Trinidad has moved to Stage III Water Restrictions. These measures are essential to safeguard our community’s water supply.
Stay Informed:

Check the bottom of your utility bill for the latest restriction updates.

Visit the City of Trinidad website and follow our social media for current information.
Outdoor Watering Schedule-No watering is allowed on Mondays.

Even-numbered addresses (0, 2, 4, 6, 8): Water only on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday between 6:00 am and 10:00 am.

Odd-numbered addresses (1, 3, 5, 7, 9): Water only on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday between 6:00 am and 10:00 am.
Violations: Non-compliance will result in fines ranging from $300 to $2,650, enforced by Trinidad Municipal Court.
Additional Stage III Restrictions

Moratorium: No new rural extra-territorial water taps will be issued.

Vehicle Washing: Use a shutoff nozzle or bucket.

Prevent Runoff: Avoid water runoff onto streets, sidewalks, and driveways.

Fountains/Ponds: Limit filling unless necessary for aquatic life.
