In Loving Memory of James Edwin Hedges IV

James Edwin Hedges IV, affectionately known as Little Jim and Jimmy Boy, was taken from us May 5, 2026 at the age of 43. He was born in Raton, NM on March 5, 1983.

Jimmy grew up to become a man whose kindness and compassion touched everyone who knew him.  He was the gentlest of giants and a master of goofy faces. He loved to joke around and have a good time. He wasn’t a perfect man and was struggling with life, but working on trying to fix himself.

Jimmy called Trinidad his home. He also lived a few years in Northglenn. He attended and graduated from Trinidad High School. He learned to drive semi-trucks and was so good at it! There was not a loading dock door he could not line up to perfectly on the first try. He loved being a long haul semi-truck driver and seeing the world. He also drove and worked for Cardinal Health and Pioneer Natural Resources, many years ago.

Jimmy loved mountain biking, climbing, and hiking. Playing guitar and listening to music were two of his passions. He attended the Warped Tour many times and very much enjoyed bands like the Clash and the Doors. He always fancied himself a rockabilly type of guy. In his younger days, he enjoyed getting and doing tattoos. He used his own body to practice on, doing several of his own tattoos. He was also a wonderful cat dad to Molly and Sasha.

Jimmy is survived by Amy Jo (Jonathan) Feinsilver, sister, Savanna Jo Mitchell, niece, Tyler Ann Behaeghe Friedman ex-wife, and many beloved family members and friends.

He was welcomed into heaven by his parents James and Peggy Hedges, John Hedges, brother, and his grandparents Jim Jr. and Amy Ann Hedges and John Tennison and Josephine Tennison.

Funeral services will be June 12, 2026 at 1 P.M. At Comi Funeral Home Chapel.
