With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father Nasario F. Trujillo Jr. He departed the earth and entered into the Kingdom of God on 11 April 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Ramos Trujillo who passed on 3 April 2026. Nasario was born 18 December 1937 to Nasario Trujillo Sr and Annie Aguilar Trujillo. Nasario was a lifetime member of the United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) and retired from Kaiser/York Canyon mine after 32 years, Dad also served in the New Mexico National Guard for 9 years. He
worked in a variety of jobs including working for the Butt Brothers for 13 years. Dad was also a life time member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Nasario is survived by sons, Gilbert (Bernadine) Denver, Co, Frank (Rose) Trampas N.M., Nick, Randy, and James, Raton. Grandchildren Danielle (David Lopez) Trampas, Joelle (Kentrell Stafford) Espanola, Frank Jr. (Mckaila) San Antonio, T.X, Steven Lee Denver, and Great granddaughter Nora Lopez

Nasario is also survived by his sister Ida (Joe Garcia) Raton, sister Berta Bruns, Moriarty N.M., brother Lawence (Fabby) Raton, and brother Tony (Debbie) Fairfield C.A.
Funeral scheduled 17 April 2026 at Mt Calvary Catholic cemetery.

Rosary 17 April 11:00 followed by mass at 11:30 at St. Josephs Church.
