The Lady Tigers travelled south into the heat to play in the Dexter Invitational Tourney and brought home a third place finish for their efforts.
Hayden Middlebrook pitched the entire game on Thursday and only had two hits with four strikeouts and seven walks in the game as the Raton bats started early with Paige Lemons bringing in Aveah Marquez to start the scoring. During the game Tess Chatterley added five to the scoreboard with five RBIs and Hayden Middlebrook added four RBIs to the total.
Scoring included Aveah Marquez -1, Paige Lemons -3, J. Quintana -2, Rayne Gass -2, Ariana Perez -1, Addison Median -1 and Jennifer Mattorano with 2.

The Dexter game was a bit tougher for the Lady Tigers as Hayden Middlebrook was on the mound for six innings. Middlebrook charged with the loss despite having nine strikeouts and only 3 walks. Scoring for Raton came from Aveah Marquez -1, Addison Medina -1 and Jennifer Mattorano with 1 and an unknown run.
