U.S. Marshals Service Southwest Investigative Fugitive Team with the help of Colfax County Sheriff deputies took into custody a federal fugitive from Idaho in the early morning hours of September 29, 2025.
Anthony Dominic Cordova, 46, of Nampa, Idaho was taken into custody without incident on an outstanding Nampa warrant for aggravated battery/use of a firearm or deadly weapon and attempted strangulation, both felonies. Cordova had been eluding capture for several months. U.S. Marshals Service Greater Idaho Fugitive Team and the Southwest Investigative Fugitive Team worked together to locate this fugitive where he was found in Raton.
