She was born in Delagua, Colorado to George and Jennie (Pauletich) Hrvatin on
April 20, 1926, where she attended school in Delagua and Trinidad High School,
graduating in 1943. On June 15, 1952, she was united in marriage to Joseph
Dosen. Together they raised two children, Michael and Debra. She was
employed by Mountain Bell for 37 years in Trinidad and an active member of St.
Anthony’s Church in Aguilar.
Anna enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening, working crossword puzzles, and
playing solitaire. She also enjoyed trips to Cripple Creek. Together, with her
husband, she traveled to numerous states to attend polka festivals and she
looked forward to holiday times with her family to bake and decorate.
Preceded in death by loving husband, Joe, Parents; George & Jennie Hrvatin,
Brothers; Joe & Frank Hrvatin, Sisters; Josephine (Chuck) Jamison, Mildred
(Ben) Harp, Mary (Elmer) Tatar, Edith (Louie) Mattivi, and Rosemary (Bob) Kelley.
Survived by Son; Mike (Debbie) Dosen, Weston, CO, Daughter; Debbie (Leo)
Maes, Colorado Springs, CO, Grandchildren; Susanne Dosen & Samantha
(Rodney) Himelrick, Pueblo, CO, Nicole (Ryan) Gilbert, Littleton, CO, Jared
(Danielle) Kramer, Gilbert, AZ, Jennica (Anthony) Ignoffo, Queen Creek, AZ, Leo
Maes III, Chandler, AZ, and GreatGrandchildren; Hadyn, Jameson, and Raegan
Kramer, Gilbert, AZ, Phoenix & Forrest Gilbert, Littleton, CO and many beloved
nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on October 16, 2023, at Comi Funeral Home from 3:00 pm to
6:00 pm. The Rosary will be held Oct. 17, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Church in Aguilar
at 9:30 am with the mass to follow. Burial will be held following at Trinidad
Catholic Cemetery.
