SUGARITE CANYON STATE PARK Events
SATURDAY (July 8):
9 a.m. Coffee at the Campground! Lake Alice Campground. Join us for coffee, hot chocolate, & doughnuts.
7 p.m. Full Moon Walk Soda Pocket Amphitheater.
Learn to see nature in a whole new light… the full moon light! We’ll kick off with s’mores (yum!) and finish with an easy 1/2 mile hike to a scenic overlook.
SUNDAY (July 9):
9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Coal Camp Tour Visitor Center.
Take a walk back in time with Ranger Pat Walsh in this tour through the Sugarite Coal Camp. This includes a moderate to strenuous hike to the mine level. Please wear good shoes and hat, and bring water.
