ShortGrass Music Festival Concert with Jason Eady (Colfax Tavern)

The ShortGrass Music Festival continues to present live music in the greater Cimarron area with a concert by Jason Eady on Saturday, September 19th at 8 pm at the Colfax Tavern, where “nothing much happens but you better be there when it does.” The Tavern is a classic roadhouse, the site itself dating back to when Colfax was a railroad town on the Vermejo Spur. The show begins with Red River’s own Hwy 38 Houndogs at 7 pm.
Performances will be outside, under the stars, and will be chilly unless you’re dancing. Northern New Mexico is one of the great night sky venues in the United States, where even the bright lights of the Tavern aren’t enough to dim your enjoyment of the Milky Way.
