Raton Ramblers Hike

The “Raton Ramblers” are hiking
the Sugarite “Lake to Lake” trail!
May, 12th – 1:30 pm
This is a moderate, four-mile roundtrip hike from Lake Alice to
Lake Maloya and back, with a 400-foot elevation gain.
• We will meet at the parking lot across from the street from Lake Alice
Campground.
• Parking at Sugarite requires a day use fee of $5 per vehicle, so car-pooling
saves money.
• Self-pay, fee stations are located at the Sugarite Visitors Center and at the
Lake Alice Campground
• Well-behaved dogs on leashes welcome
• Weather permitting
• All Participants hike at their own risk
