Raton Business Round-Table ~ Grow Raton

GrowRaton! hosts the Raton Business Roundtable on the last Thursday of each month so that business owners, managers, educators, and other interested people can discuss economic development topics and workforce needs.

PROGRAM

Community Coordinator Patricia Duran will be discussing the importance of signing up and attending the Recharging Our Community Economy (ROCE) workshop series beginning on March 21. The series is free to attend and includes a working lunch. Businesses, community leaders, and all concerned citizens are invited to participate as we discuss the future of our local economy. We encourage leaders from every industry to participate or send someone who can benefit. Doing so could help launch a community-wide project that benefits everyone and improves Raton’s economic development.

The Boot Camp for business development is starting recruitment! Geoff Peterson, Executive Director of the Center for Community Innovation, will give a brief Boot Camp update, including the survey of area entrepreneurs and the opening of applications for the Boot Camp. The four-week program, running in May, will provide eight Raton area businesses the opportunity to receive personalized coaching from the experts at Creative Startups, a leading business development organization based in Santa Fe.
