Open Screen Night at the El Raton Theater!

Calling all filmmakers and film lovers!

This is your chance to showcase your short films or works-in-progress on the big screen and get feedback from a supportive audience. Think of it like an open mic night, but for movies! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, all are welcome.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow filmmakers and share your passion for cinema.

Location: El Raton Theater

Cost: Free

Eligibility:

• Films must be under 15 minutes in length.

• All genres are welcome, but content must be appropriate for a general audience (no excessive violence, nudity, or hate speech).

• Filmmakers must be present at the screening. We encourage filmmakers to stay for the entire event to network and support their fellow creators.

Technical Requirements:

• Films should be in a standard digital format (e.g., MP4, MOV) and no larger than 3.5GB in size. HD quality (1920x1080px) minimum is recommended, 4k is better.

• If your film quality is 720p or less, we recommend upscaling the project with Topaz Labs or a similar software platform for the best display of your film.

Submissions:

• Submissions are free and you may submit your film via the form below beforehand, or bring in a thumb drive the day of the event. By submitting your film, you agree to these rules and guidelines and we reserve the right to refuse any film that does not meet these guidelines.
