Music from Angel Fire ~ Free Concert (Shuler)

Music from Angel Fire is celebrating its 33rd Summer Music Festival. With the help of generous local sponsors, Raton will host a free concert of “Miracles and Fantasies” at the Historic Shuler Theater on Thursday, September 1st at 7 pm. 

The 2016 season explores a rich history of literature and music combined to create the theme, “Storytelling – poetry and literature in music” with Composer-in-Residence, Gabriela Lena Frank.

Artistic Director and violinist Ida Kavafian hand-selected the season’s programs which bring stories to life through music performed by a host of nationally renowned artists. 

Music from Angel Fire strives to share their love of music and friendship with communities far and wide.
