HOH: Navajo Sand Painting ~ Trinidad History Museum on the Historic Santa Fe Trail

For November, we will be celebrating Native American Heritage Month by learning about the histories and culture of indigenous groups. This week, we will learn about the Navajo people and the significance of sand painting. We will have a special guest lecturer who will be teaching us how to sand paint as well.

This activity runs from 1-4 PM for students in grades 1-8. The cost is $9/student, and there are scholarships available. For students who want to stay the full day, which includes morning language lessons and lunch, the cost is $12.
