Groundwater is a crucial, yet invisible resource in northeastern New Mexico.

How do you assess the resources you have for your home, livestock and other agricultural uses? In this workshop we’ll talk about how we think about aquifers, the geology
that controls our groundwater and how we determine quantity and quality. Join Dr.
Kate Zeigler for an informative session on groundwater resource management topics
for the Mora-Wagon Mound area! Topics will include defining an aquifer, how we measure water levels, various water sample analyses that tell us about quality and potential recharge, and other related topics.
