Centennial Exhibit & Oral History: In The Shadow of the Volcano

Capulin Volcano National Monument cordially invites you to the opening of their Centennial exhibit, “In the Shadow of the Volcano” on Thursday evening, August 18th from 6 pm until 8 pm.

This freestanding exhibit includes 22 high-quality photos on display from private collections in our local community, documenting the extensive history of ranching in and around Capulin Volcano. Park staff will be on hand to answer questions and record oral histories from members of the community. Participation is free of charge, and light refreshments will be provided.
