BENEFIT CONCERT FOR U.S. TROOP CHARITIES
Trop Rock/Nashville Recording Artist
SAM RAINWATER
Friday, August 7, 2015, 6 pm – 8pm
Eagle Nest, NM – Enjoy an evening of Trop Rock music (made famous by Jimmy Buffet) on a summer night at Golden Eagle RV Park, while helping to support those who support our country. Award-winning musician Sam Rainwater, a self-proclaimed “MexiTropAholic,” will entertain guests with original songs from his three albums, classic favorites, and his latest tunes.
The concert is free, with 100 percent of the proceeds from Rainwater’s tips and CD sales going to U.S. troop charities, including Wounded Warriors and the USO.
A “Rocket Scientist” by day, Rainwater is a Trop-Rocker in his soul, writing music and touring extensively throughout the U.S. and Mexico. To date, he has raised over $114,000 in charitable gifts, which have benefited U.S. troupes and children and families across the border. His three Nashville-produced CDs, Vacation Location, Dressing for Life, and Can You Hear Me Now? will be available at the Friday night benefit.
