Sugarite Fishing Derby
The Sugarite Fishing Derby is a nine-day fishing extravaganza at Sugarite Canyon State Park! Registered anglers fish at Lake Maloya for tagged trout, to get a chance at cash prizes up to $1,000. And every registered participant gets a chance at a 14-foot V-hull Lowe boat and trailer! Registration is $10 per person.
There are daily door prizes, as well as a Kids’ Derby that will take place on Saturday, June 1.
