1st Annual Christmas Spectacular ~ Hosted by Peak Cinemas

We are looking for a sponsor for our 1st Annual Christmas Spectacular!!!

These films will be played December 20th-23rd and will be free admission for included titles only. (New first run shows will still require paid admission)

The films we have booked are:
Polar Express (2005)
The Grinch (2018)
Elf (2004)
A Christmas Story (1983)
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)
Gremlins (1984)
Lethal Weapon (1987)

These will play at least once per day (play times not yet final).

For any potential sponsors, we are looking to cover our costs associated with film licensing and admission minimums. The cost for this across all 8 titles is $4100. We would like help in covering as much of this as possible.

Sponsoring this event will get headline advertising space on over 1000 posters that will be distributed across the Southern Colorado and Northeastern NM region as well as special mentions in our weekly advertising runs in both the Chronicle News and the New Legends Weekend Express, mentions on radio spots leading up to the event, and a single slide listing your company as the sponsor of this event before every showing! For any sponsor that would be so inclined, we can also provide space in our lobby for a booth/table during this event!

On November 12th 2019, we became a Non-Profit entity in accordance with the Colorado Secretary of State. This transition is meant to allow the theater to function in a way that better serves the community and allows for community based fundraising, grants, and collaboration. While our owners have dedicated much of their personal time and savings into this venue, they do not possess the necessary funding to provide the community with the venue that they believe we all deserve. In an effort to keep the doors open and provide for facility updates we have started a go fund me page. If that fundraising goal is reached it will provide for operating costs through 2020 and new seats for auditoriums 1&2.
OUR VISION
Our vision is for a movie theater that serves the community. We desire to provide Trinidad with a premiere movie going venue at an affordable local price. We also hope to see this theater become our stepping stone to reviving the magic of the Drive-In theater, aiming to restore The Peak Drive-In to its glory days with a family oriented environment.
WHO WE ARE
Kenneth and Robert Beck are a father-son duo of service disabled veterans just entering into an agreement with International Bank in an effort to revive and invigorate the local movie theater in Trinidad, CO.
Our aim is to provide a movie-going experience that is compatible with our local community. We hope to be able to contribute to a better quality of life within Trinidad and our surrounding towns.
OUR STORY
We are both US Veterans and local to Trinidad & Raton. Kenneth served in the US Navy in the Vietnam Era and eventually retired from the Army. Robert served in OIF as a member of the US Army. We both have a strong sense of community and fellowship and want to show this through our business.
