John Trammell was born in Denver, Colorado on December 17, 1939. John came to Trinidad in
1967 when he was transferred by the Colorado State Patrol. He spent 27 years keeping the
highways safe and was awarded the Medal of Valor.
John was very engaged with members of the community. His biggest passion other than flying
his plane was Jesus Christ. John became a Eucharistic Minister to take communion to several
shut – ins. Now he finally has joined Christ in Heaven!
John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Trammell. John is survived by his
wife of 63 years, Frances, son Anthony ( Janet Galasso ) Trammell, daughter Elizabeth
Trammell, and two grandchildren Justin Trammell and Ann Trammell and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Services will be held with Comi Funeral Home.
Viewing/Visitation at Comi Chapel on November 11, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The Rosary to be held at Comi Chapel on November 11, 2024 at 6:00 PM
The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church ( 135 Church St ) on November 12, 2024
at 10:00 AM with the gravesite services at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery ( 2366 E. Main St. )
