Suzanne Lupita (Salazar) Rosales Lopez age 94 of Springer, NM passed away April 20th 2014. She was born on March 10th1920 in Wagon Mound, New Mexico to Elfido Salazar-Suazo and Carmelita Mascarenas. She attended elementary schools in Levy-Nolan and Wagon Mound school districts and later in life Las Vegas Highlands University.
In her late teens Suzanne moved to Denver and then to California where she married Emil Rosales. She was a homemaker and child care provider to her many nieces and nephews. Suzanne or Suzie enjoyed her garden, crocheting, quilting, and was an avid rock hound gatherings rocks where ever she travelled. She moved back to New Mexico in her Golden years where she lived until her passing.
Suzanne is survived by her son Pierre Rosales of Longmont, Colorado grandchildren Letisha Rosales of Denver and Pierre Rosales of Las Vegas, New Mexico, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are two sisters Alice Salazar of Springer, NM and Flora Mack of Artesia, CA.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday May 7th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home.
