Ben Roy created and starred in TruTv’s scripted comedy series THOSE WHO CAN’T along with fellow Grawlix comedy troupe members, Adam Cayton-Holland and Andrew Orvedahl. Set in Denver, Those Who Can’t follows three dysfunctional high school teachers, who are as screwed-up as the kids they teach. In addition, Ben is also a prolific stand-up comedian and appeared on Ari Shaffir’s Comedy Central show, THIS IS NOT HAPPENING. He has also been on ADAM DEVINE’S HOUSE PARTY and HBO’s FUNNY AS HELL. Ben has released 3 comedy albums including, I GOT DEMONS, which was featured in LAUGHSPIN as one of the Top Comedy Albums of the year.
Zach Abeyta is a stand-up comedian and Bboy from Albuquerque New Mexico. He has been breakdancing for eight years and represents the Flava Pheenz Crew. Straight from the cipher to the stage, Zach Abeyta can be seen regularly at comedy shows around the town. His comedy style is just as expressive as his dance moves, mixing creative wording with heavy physicality. Zach has won several comedy contests, appeared in magazines, and performed at multiple comedy festivals. He runs his own comedy show monthly at Canteen Brewhouse. Look out for a chance to see Zach performing across the southwest.
ELISE KERNS HAS BEEN DOING STAND-UP COMEDY FOR 2 YEARS BUT HAS BEEN AROUND IT FOR 30 YEARS THANKS TO HER COMEDIAN FATHER, RICK KERNS. As a comedian herself, she’s been hailed as “hilarious” by Wende Curtis, owner of Comedy Works, She’s opened for the likes of Josh Blue, Mitch Fatel, and Todd Glass. She’s performed at the world-famous Comedy Works a handful of times, for sold-out crowds at the historic Rialto Theater in Loveland, CO, and the Oriental Theater in Denver, CO, and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater.
Nathan Lund has traveled the country and is a favorite at Denver’s Comedy Works. He was featured on the TV show “Flophouse” on the Viceland network as well as the BBC2 show “Horizon”. Nathan was a part of Funny or Die’s Oddball Comedy Fest, Crom Comedy Festival, Savage Henry Fest, Orlando Indie Comedy Festival, and the High Plains Comedy Festival. He is the host of the podcast One on Lund and is the reigning Denver Comedy Champion.
