Colfax County Rapid Response Meeting

Colfax County Rapid Response is a volunteer firefighting community based organization. Currently we engage in Wild land and Structural fires. When called upon we serve a civic duty, which is to protect the communities and citizens in Colfax County.

Colfax County Rapid Response meets on the second and forth Thursdays of each month at the Colfax County Courthouse at 7:00 PM. The courthouse is located at 230 North 3rd Street, Raton, New Mexico. We are constantly looking for new volunteers, so if you are interested, please come to one of our meetings.

We are a volunteer organization that was developed to provide support to the Fire Departments in our County and surrounding area. We provide training in both wildland and structural firefighting to our members.
Currently, we have 14 members that carry a “red card” in wildland firefighting, and 23 members are certified to the operations level in hazardous materials.
