Margaret Snow age 74, of Raton, NM., passed away Tuesday February 11, 2014 in Raton. She was born April 29, 1939 in Raton the daughter of Henry and Elsie Devcich-Tomsco. Margaret had worked for many years in banking and was the branch manager for International Bank in Raton, and a member of St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Bill Snow. Margaret is survived by her daughter Kim Walton and husband Robert of Raton, son Matt Snow and wife Sandra of Santa Fe, NM, sister Henrietta Guttierez and husband Ned of Lafayette, LA. brother Edward Tomsco and wife Charlene of Raton. Five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Saturday February 15, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church recited by Frank Cimino Jr. Mass will follow at 9:30 A.M. with Father John Trambley and Fr Daniel Balizan as the celebrants. Rite of Christian Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements and celebration of love for Margaret Snow are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.

Margaret was my childhood playmate.We lived on the same block. I’m saddened to learn of her passing. My prayers go out to surviving members of the family, Edward and Charlene; Henrietta and Ned. I have a picture of the Tomsco’s gravesite as a reminder of the folks who helped raise me.
