BACKGROUND: Consuela Mary Salas was born on September 21, 1949 in Denver, Colorado to Antonio E. Gallegos and Hope (Vigil) Gallegos. She married Eugenio M. Salas on February 22, 1975 and they moved to Clayton that same year. They lived in Clayton until 1988 when they moved to Clovis where they lived until 2006 when they returned to Clayton. Consuela was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness on June 26, 2010 at a convention in Amarillo, Texas at the Civic Center. Consuela was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother; Heiman Gallegos.
