Community Screening for Children – Trinidad

Are you aware of the no cost screening days that are available to your program and families? The Huerfano and Las Animas Counties Early Children Advisory Council and community partners provide no cost screenings to children birth to 5 years of age twice a year. Our next screening days are March 15, 2019 in Trinidad and March 16, 2019 in Walsenburg. The locations and times are listed on the attached flyer. Your families can attend whichever day is most convenient, regardless of where they live.

Children and families have access to no cost screenings such as: dental, vision, hearing, developmental, behavioral health and lead. Families are provided copies of their screenings and when there are concerns they are referred to local resources to support their child.
