Magdalena Loretta Armijo of Fowler CO entered into rest, Oct 3 2013 at her home in Fowler. She was born Nov 4 1958 in Raton NM, to Frank and Alice Armijo. She was 54 years of age.
Magdalena is survived by her children: Elizabeth Armijo of Alamosa CO, Alison (James) Kason of Rocky Ford Co, Victoria Rose Andrade of Albuquerque NM, Gerald Herrell of Fowler CO, Jack Herrell of Pueblo Co, Grandchildren; Daniel, Kimberly, Adrianna, Derek and Garrett, brothers; Arthur Armijo of Raton NM, Lawrence Romero of Fowler, Co. Harold Romero of Fowler, Co. sisters Elizabeth (David) Segura of Raton NM, Frances (Joseph) Mendez of Raton NM,Rosalie (Bill) Strahl of Albuquerque NM, Jackie Romero of Fowler CO, numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Alice Armijo, sister Marie Sandoval, Niece Veronica Simmons and good friend Carl J Mann.
Magdalena enjoyed crocheting, attending church, and long walks. She also enjoyed her job at the Loaf-n-jug in Fowler, where she worked as a clerk for 15 years, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother , sister, aunt and caretaker. Everyone loved her smile andlaugh. She will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday Oct 9 , 2013 from 12:00 PM = 2:00 PM followed by a Funeral service at 2:00 PM. Both services will be held at the Fowler West Assembly of God. Johnson-Romero Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
